HANNA felting supports Slow Fashion and the use of local raw natural fabrics innovatively in design.

The freshness and quality of each HANNA felting item is derived from the designer’s unique way of processing Icelandic lamb’s wool, straight from the free-grazing sheep in the mountains and fjords of Iceland.

Every garment by HANNA felting is a breath of fresh air with designs that are both vibrant and cutting edge.

The texture is derived from the felting process of handpicked Icelandic lamb´s wool combined with cotton and silk. The look is soft and natural with mean edges in bright yet muted colours.

The unique fabric is hand finished by artisans in the remote and picturesque Icelandic village of Seydisfjördur and sculpted into striking and inspiring pieces that are light and flexible enough to wear in any season.

HANNA felting’s calling card is the creative use of wool. The designer, Hanna Pétursdóttir, works closely with local artisans in eastern Iceland who hand work the wool and combine it with cotton and knits in order to make a beautiful natural fabric that is wonderfully light and flexible.  Hanna’s artistic side then takes over and she plays with texture and shape to develop a collection that offers an exciting and wearable approach to fashion.
